Tutorial on Templates?

I'm looking for a tutorial on creating new templates from scratch, but I don't see anything in the tutorials section. Can you direct me to something for beginners? Thanks emoticon

Templating isn't really a beginner topic, unfortunately. At some point in the process you have to work with raw HTML code, and that doesn't really translate well to the visual tutorial format emoticon
